Hi!

The time is drawing near for our book chat on "Naked Reading -
Uncovering
What Tweens Need to Become Lifelong Readers" by Teri S. Lesesne. For
those
who may still not have it, the book is published by Stenhouse and may be
ordered at
http://www.stenhouse.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=0&idproduct=8984

The discussion will begin on July 24 and continue for approximately one
week.

Because these kinds of discussions can generate a higher-than-normal
volume of email, which can be seen as bothersome by some
non-participants,
we have traditionally held them off list. Accordingly, if you are
interested, please email me privately and I will get things set up for
our
discussion.

Thanks to all who voted on our book choice and who helped prepare for
this
book chat, and I look forward to "seeing" you all online!

Take care,
Bill Ivey

Hi!

I understand some email systems are filtering any bulk email with the
word
"Naked" in the subject header, so I'm being careful how I address this
posting.

I am pleased to report that we already have eight people signed up for
the
book chat on Teri S. Lesesne's book "Naked Reading" which will begin on
Monday, July 24. I am delighted and honored to report that Ms. Lesesne
has
graciously agreed to participate in the discussion with us! It should be
a
lively and interesting discussion.

Take care,
