Subject: [LIT] book ideas

Hi!

My students have organized a unit for December around the theme question
"Should we fear or should we discover more about the past, present and
future?"

I am probably going to read them "Shadow Baby" by Alison McGhee for our
morning reading book. I need a novel for them to read and discuss. I
probably would have done "Walk Two Moons," but I think too many of my
students have already read it. Do you all have any ideas?

Take care,
