Reading your words Sue, I just have to share that shortly after I had my first daughter, my mom and mother-in-law were talking in the other room, and I heard them agree that having a granddaughter is like falling in love again. You are glowing through your words, it really is a beautiful thing!

what are you all thankful for?

As a wife of 33 years and a mom of three grown children and now a first time
grandma I would have to say I am most thankful this year for a bouncy,
healthy, happy, beautiful little girl named Elery Kate. She is six months
old and rocks my world! I thought being a mom was great, but being a grandma
is over the top. I always felt close to my kids and loved and appreciated
them, but now I feel my daughter and I have become even closer in sharing
the bonds, joys, and work of motherhood. When people say Grandparent time is
reaping the benefits of all the hard work and effort from being a parent,
they are so right. I thank God daily that my husband and I are able to enjoy
Ellie's every new adventure. She makes me smile just thinking of her.
