[LIT] Kylene Beers

Just wanted to put in a word about Kylene Beers - she is doing a 
five-hour workshop on Thursday, 10/11, at the Florida Council of 
Teachers of English conference in Orlando.  For people who attend the 
conference, which begins with her keynote on Thursday evening and ends 
Saturday noon, the cost is $120 non-member for conference (which then 
makes one a member) and then $50 for Kylene's workshop.  If you think

The conference promises to be top-notch with other educators Janet 
Allen, Doug Fisher, Barry Lane, 17 YA authors, RocknWrite, and Walden
