Mark--
My husband, a science teacher, has been reading the Anthony Horowitz
young adult series to his kids. The series is based on a 14 year old
British boy whose uncle was killed during a spy mission. The
organization drafts the teen into working for them. Each of the books
in the series is full of science. In the one I am reading now, the
young hero designs a snowboard out of an ironing board going through
the process of aerodynamics and lift and drag--force and motion. It is
interesting the way horowitz combines the science with the "spy
tricks." The first book in the series is "Stormbreakers." The second is
"Point Blanc." I am currently reading the third one--"Skeleton Key."
it is good stuff and the kids are loving it!
