[LIT] status of class

I have changed the way this is done. I use a notebook, that I produced and
stapled together, and the kids themselves must write in the notebook in
their own hand what they are doing... and they have a place to indicate if
they need a conference, and what it is re. It certainly helps me keep track
of what they said they were doing if in fact they come up short...

Hi Vicki-
Welcome! You'll get lots of good ideas from this group. "Status of the
Class" is a recordkeeping form, a kind of chart, that many of us use to
track where each of our students is in either reading workshop, or writing
workshop.
