[LIT] Balancing research project sources

This activity comes from the Virtual Library--I found it mentioned in
an e-newsletter I get weekly.  I'm going to try it with my 8th grade
English and 7th grade AVID kids.  You might find it useful if you work
with research projects in which kids need to balance primary and
secondary sources.

In a practice worksheet for high school student research 
papers, a possible search results page is listed. Stu-
dents must rank the results by their value to their own 
papers, giving reasons for their chosen ratings. Use the 
2nd link above for the same type of exercise, but this 
one geared specifically to middle school. (7-12)
