[LIT] Materials for balanced literacy 4 to 8?

We use Holt at my school.  We have been taught to teach the standards 
and if there is a good story in Holt to use that.  Essentially it is an 
Anthology.  There is quality literature in it, though and since I have a 
book for everyone, it's like having guided reading material, I guess.  
It is a grade level text, however some of the supplementary materials 
are lower level.
