Mary--
I am alittle late in answering your post--but, we are using a new 
product that my teachers are loving!
it is called "Plugged-in" and is the product of a collaboration between 
Dr. Janet Allen and Recorded Books/Sundance. the resources are 
incredible. The kit comes with four "CORE" novels and everything you 
could ever need to teach them. Then, there are six sets of literature 
circle or small group novels and 60 single copy novels for independent 
reading. All of this comes with a fantastic teachers "Guide to Balanced 
Literacy." It is not cheap--but it has been a remarkable asset for our 
teachers.
