[LIT] Difference between Fry Readibility and Lexile

Can you help me clarify this?

Our state testing (TX-VERY high stakes!!!)--released lexiles of
passages for the reading test, math, and science test for 4th-8th grade.
 As a reading teacher of struggling readers in the gen ed classroom (5th
grade), how might I use those reported lexile scores to inform me of the
tests' reading difficulty?  Any ideas?
