[LIT] Update favorite "read-aloud"

Hi!

Well, I "always" start the year with Hip Cat by Jonathan London (takes
about five minutes).

Beyond that... my kids (all girls) loved Pictures of Hollis Woods. We just
finished If You Come Softly by Jacqueline Woodson (about an interracial
romance), and they loved that too. They liked the extracts I chose from
"Anne Frank Remembered." They're excited to start "Shadow Baby." Actually,
they pretty much love anything - I do love this group! :-)
