[LIT] Update favorite "read-aloud"

My favorite read alouds are The Giver (Lois Lowery), Among the
Hidden(Margaret Haddix), and The
Last Book in the Universe (Rodman Philbrick).  These are tried but true
favorites, but the sequels Messenger, Gathering Blue and many more "Amongs"
just aren't great read alouds.  They are however, great books to send kids
to when you are done with the read alouds.
