[LIT] Update favorite "read-aloud"

I am butting in, too. lol
I did The Giver with my 6th graders for 5 straight years.  They handle it
well.  When I read I stop quite a bit and check for understanding, define
words, explain concepts, ask questions that help make connections.  It does
take a lot of talking at the beginning to help them make the picture.  Once
they do, the connections are amazing.  They identify with Jonas all year.
They will also argue the end forever.
