[LIT] teaching students how do do bibliographies/ note taking for research reports

I am collaborating with the social studies teacher to
work on a research report about a country selected by
the students- he asked me to help out with teaching
students to do the bibliiography as well as note
taking.  I'm looking for an interesting/engaging way
to approach the bibliography- I was thinking about
trying a resources sort, where students sort different
types of resources and then write them out using the
style that he wants. I'm also going to help them work
on their note taking skills- he wants those to be
completed on notecards. I'm feeling stuck, and I'd
really like this collaboration to work! Any ideas?
