Hi Kim,

I also LOVE Eve Bunting. I bought her books when I was a reading
teacher, with the
plan of using them for an author study and for making connections
between her books.

I bought them after we had moved on to other strategies, however, and
this year I am only teaching language arts.
I have never really thought about the symbolism and metaphors in them,
however. If you have time, I would love
to hear what you and your students came up with:)

Thanks in advance!
