[LIT] summer reading group update

Hi!

Here are the results of the survey:
1.  63% of us want to read both a young adult novel and a professional book
    23% of us want to read just a professional book
     13% of us want to read just a young adult novel
2.  34% of us want to read "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer
      26% of us want to read "Angelfish" by Lawrence Yep 
      23% of us want to read "Sparrow Hawk Red" by Ben Mickelson
      16% of us want to read "Downsiders" by Neil Shusterman
3.  47& of us want to read "The Reading Zone" by Nancie Atwell
     31% of us want to read "Adolescent Writers" by Kelly Gallagher
     22% of us want to read "Writing Through the Tween Years: Supporting
Writers, Grades 3-6"

So I will coordinate side discussions on the top choice in each category -
"Twilight" and "The Reading Zone." If anyone wants to moderate a side
discussion on any other book, please let me know privately at
bivey at sbschool.org

Here are the dates for the discussions:

"Twilight" - July 16-23
"The Reading Zone" - July 30-August 5

I will double-check with Keith as to how he'd like to proceed with
sign-ups, and post information to the list.
