Here's one activity I used.  More to follow.

			BOOK BITE EVALUATION ~ 100 POINTS
DIRECTIONS:	Answer all questions in complete sentences.
			Spelling, capitalization and punctuation will count.
			You may use your book.

1. Title of Book and Author:  ____________________________________________________

2.  Brief Summary of the plot of the story.  ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

3.  What is the CONFLICT in the novel?

4. The MAIN CHARACTER is also known as the PROTAGONIST or the HERO.  Who is the main character of your novel?  What are his or her traits?  You must name at least 2 of them and give examples from the story to support our opinion.
