[LIT] (no subject)

I'VE ALWAYS CALLED  IT BACKMAPPING.  THE IDEA IS TO DECIDE WHERE YOU WANT
THE KIDS TO BE AT THE END OF A  UNIT, OR QUARTER , WHATEVER TIME FRAME.
FROM THERE, YOU WORK BACKWARDS TO PLAN FROM THE END TO THE BEGINNING.  WHERE
I COME FROM IT'S MOSTLY USED TO BE SURE YOU GET ALL THOSE STANDARDS TAUGHT
(NOT NECESSARILY LEARNED) BEFORE TESTING.  IT'S EASY TO PUT IT ON PAPER, BUT
I FIND IT TO BE TRICKY TO STICK TO.
