HI everyone, I'm brand new to this group.I've enjoyed reading your posts and I want to thank you Teena for the 20 second restate. It's great for inappropriate language and I intend to introduce it Monday morning, mainly for the purpose of rude comments either towards me or other students. I work in an inner city setting and we have worked hard on how we respond to each other and ways to say things politely. This 20 second restate gives them a second chance in a fun way. I can forsee the kids helping each other with the words for the restate and having fun with it.
