[LIT] Middle School Reading Levels (Question)

what about using the QRI? Since it's not computerized, it's more time 
intensive for the teacher... Or have some trade books that you know the 
level of and that you think will appeal to the student and do a running 
record.... Or do a running record on a book they are reading and then find 
the level of it and go from there?
