[LIT] Prompts Take Two

The rubric I use is informative for students to see, that when they like a book and do well on the quiz,?they often?give it a higher level 4 or 5:? This is the rubric:
1?? -? Leave it
2?? -? Not great?
3?? -??OK
4?? -??Liked it!
5?? -? Loved it
The type of questions asked are main idea, inference questions "Jake believed the drumsticks were..."
Author's Purpose: students learn to identify the author's purpose by subject matter, the use of language in a passage and the tone; fact and opinion; making predictions, summarizing and interpreting figurative language.?

There is a fund to help schools after Hurricane Katrina?to build their?school libraries with?books.?
Why was King Arthur able to pull the sword out of the stone?

What are your questions for your quiz and would you share the rubric? I like
the idea of names on the list. Do you read at the beginning or end of the
period or day?
