[LIT] Essay contest or publication opportunities sought

  Looking for places to publish student work.  One of my 7th graders recently turned in an essay modeled off "If I Could Change the World," written by the character Gerald in Tears of a Tiger.  Her version was no less plaintive and I'd like to see her get it "published" somewhere, even if it's just on-line. 
   
  Any suggestions.  I am a new teacher and I am the only middle school English teacher at my small Catholic K-12 school.
