One-Sentence Poems
The students were challenged to write one-sentence poems that captured an image. The first two lines and the first line of the third line were the same in each poem--that made the pattern. What finishes the pattern is different in each poem. These are easy to write and can be fun--you try it! Maybe yours will be more vivid and descriptive!
Here are the students' poems so far--more will be posted later.

Samone,
You made me smile because you described, in a sentence, our beloved bassett hound, Rexford. P. Hound-Dog, better known as Rexie-Boy. My son named him for Tyranasaurus Rex! He was a loving and wonderful, long-eared pooch. We miss his sad droopy eyes and sweet disposition. He passed away in 2003. Thanks for renewing the fond memory of Rexie as a pup!
