Carrots

Rodney loves carrots so much that he fights for them.

And one time he got punished because he was
sneaking carrots at night time and he got busted
and my mom sent him to bed and she
punished him.

The One

You think you're in love but you're not
Sometimes it may feel real but it's not.
Love could break your heart.
Crying over your lover
Thoughts flying through your head
Imagining what you did wrong.
But the truth is you didn't.
When you find the one you would know.
Giving you chocolates, beautiful flowers.
That's the sweetest thing.
Making sweet compliments to you.
Hiding your face smiling.
Love is not fake it's real
All you can say is the one
The one for me
the one that will never do me wrong.

In My Mind

Running is never the way to solve problems
I try to hide problems
It never goes away.
By hiding my problems it builds up more
Don't let my looks deceive you.
I have my own problems just like everyone else
Need someone to talk to and be there for me
Screaming to the loud heavy music
Punching a hole in the wall
Just all out there
Do not fear me, this is my way
I went through so many difficulties
I have someone to give me advice
So I don't have to hurt myself
He's there for me
A special friend I can talk to
We trust each other and care about each other
--C.D.G.

I...

I Hate
to Love
and Love
to Hate
sigh in
Weakness
and pain
I Hate
It!
--K.S.

Just Me!

I have a
right to think
what I think to
see what I see.
To believe in what
I believe. Let
people think what
they want to think
that's why I'm
uniquely beautiful
ME!

Inspired

There's a woman who is more
Than a woman
She's an angel without wings
Watching over me
She flew into the clouds
And she's been calling for me
It's my time to go.
You come too.
--C.F.

32 Word Poem

I depend on a woman
Who I don't know

She's in my dreams
In my mind

Is she real?
Or do I just want to know her
And I'm not supposed to?
--C.F.

Untitled

The angel in my nightmare
The apple of my eye.
Memories we shared
Those days and nights passed me by.
Reflecting on my memories makes me want
to cry.
--V.P.

Mistakes Are Regret

The same mistakes
each and everyday
I let you lie,
let myself fade away
Under the influence not above
I was a fool
I thought you were true love
--V.P.

Untitled

People wonder what's going to happen after a heartbreak
Are they going to forgive and forget?
Or live with a wish to go back in time
You wonder if wishes come true
And if fantasies are real
And if that one heartbreak
Is going to heal
You try getting back to your normal life
Pretending that hearbreak was a lie
Wanting to make a wish upon a star
And that star making your life a dream
That would never come true
And just hoping that no one will
Stare at you
When you walk into work or school the next day
Feeling like it's the end of time
And not wanting to wait
Until that next dream
Turns out to be the end of the heartbreaks.

Dark Cries

I turn around to hide my face
But what I'm really hiding is my disgrace
running from love, like, and hate
What I'm running from is my fate.

Lying in a sea of fire blood and bones, vast
in a land where I am always alone.
